Evolutionary Analysis 5th Edition PDF was a thorough, detailed, and helpful compilation of biological information for the public. I found the topics to be well-written and educational without being too difficult to understand. I would recommend this book if you need a reference for basic biology or if you would like to learn more about the field of evolutionary biology.

Jon C. Herron has done an amazing job with this 5th edition of his classic text on evolution which includes new material on comparative genomics, epigenetics, evolution in action, and population genetics. The explanations are clear with many modern examples or analogies that make sense to those unfamiliar with evolutionary biology concepts such as “genetic drift” or “species selection.
